Not sure if it was shown on the Adelaide TV Services - on our local teev -but Compleat Angler @ Wallaroo suffered huge damage as a result of the deluge(s) over the weekend. Brian and staff were shown flat out mopping up the disaster.

Wishing them all the best for a speedy recovery - a top crew for advice and service.

Yes Wallaroo Store flooded on Sunday arvo when the box gutters overflowed. We were not the only ones other business and homes flooded also.

We are still waiting for the insurance assessors at the moment.

Our Moonta store is open and trading normally.

Hopefully Wallaroo will be open again tomorrow but there will be some inconvenience to customers as over the next few weeks we will have tradesmen doing repairs and painting.

Yeah good luck with all that mess you have to contend with hopefully the insurance does not take to long and all goes well

Heard about this today whilst talking with a friend at the local. He was up there on a bit of a drive on Sunday and mentioned to me how bad the flooding was. Seems the drain that runs through the centre of town overflowed also and there was so much run off that the water infront of the jetty was a filty brown colour. Didnt see it myself, but reckon the blue line whiting would find things just to their liking.

It made the front page of the YP Country Times

I just wish Brian would use a mop at home.

Repair work on the shop (Wallaroo) starts tomorrow but we will try and make it customer friendly as we can.
