Had a read of the latest Club Marine mag page 23 a small article about the northern territory fisheries minister Kon Vatskalis has rejected calls for fishing bans to be implemented in any marine protected areas in NT he says in short that they don't have the issues other states have & reckons he will go fishing with the amateur fisho's. Bloody good on him, but i wonder how much pressure he'll get from canberra to change his mind? hope he sticks to guns & gives those greeny tossers a good run for their money.
think i'll write him a letter of encouragement, now all we need in south oz is a fisheries minister with some balls!!!
