gday guys any1 know how wallaroo has been fishing the last few weeks any1 hear of kings or snapper round the place cheers

I would doubt it mate, I think they are more of a warm weather prospect. My old man got onto some decent rats this January gone.
Although I'd be keen to here what's biting over there too.

only a month ago they were getting big snapps and rat kings.

There should still be good snapps their in winter (Best time for the big ones so ive heard) and chances of getting a King are still good.

The rougher the better for snapper off end of jetty.all year round.kingys show up a few times a year. they are showing up a lot more regular over the last 3 or 4 years.

Landbased. The kings are always cruising up and down. IF you hook up, you WON'T land it, if it is a good size. They mess you up real quick in the jetty there.

Snapper are always there, lots of hard work though.

the end of the jetty is good if theres a nice choppy blow but so far as i know not a lots been happening of late-most life seems to be the marina boat ramp are for st's

North of Wallaroo at Tickera I was shore based fishing off some rocks and got a few decent snapper.
Theyre out there! just need the fresh bait and You'll be right ;]

It was two weekends ago, shallow water, was a channel goin through it. Got two bites and two fish. Had people who went there a day before us and bagged out. I went last wkend but had shitty bait so they didnt take it but plenty of bites.

I shall head out there this saturday i reckon!
