With the forcast looking a bit doubtful for this arvo i thought i'd better atleast get out for a quick flick this morning and not wanting to ponce about for long i chose a quick session on the salmon trout to get my LB fix.
The little fellows were lining up for the flickbaits this morning and it didn't take too long to get my bag, i've gotta say what better fun could you have for about 2 bucks and since i've been using the S/Ps it makes ducking out for a quick fish pretty enjoyable, its an active type of fishing, pretty successful and you don't have to muck around waiting for your local tackle shop to open or waiting for your smelly bait to thaw out.
Well thats all from me and i hope when i get up after a quick kip(just finished night shift)its not raining too much so i can go for a look for a bream or two.....i'll probably go anyway

Geez Harry ever since i saw you lurking about the Pat on that cold and windy night i had you pegged as a flat out fishing addict, where has it all gone wrong?...surely your not satisfied just pulling that 1 mully out your bum on the flickbaits or did you do it just to cheese me off

West lakes? any hints on location?
I was thinking of hitting porties jetty on sunday morn for a try, but the lake is just as close for me.
Ive got orders from the minister to get some fish for eats. Cant not obey direct orders
The wind will pick up soon, so bait fishing may be the go, but I agree, flickbaits are great fun

Lazyness hits hard in winter brenton and busy trying to earn a living in a cab aint easy these days with high living bills every @#%^&% month!

kids sport on weekend mornings and late nights makes it hard to find the time to get out there . Warmer weather helps me out.

and yea was fluke in the pat that mully, have caught 2 more in there but on livies , while flickn away!

must of been cozz u were there i supose lol

best of luck

Old Salty get the boat down to the coorong mate, launch at mundoo and troll from the entrance to the mouth. If you haven't got one on the end of your line by the time you hit the mouth i would be amazed mate.
