TOPIC: has anyone had success with slam baits?

has anyone had success with slam baits? 1 year, 11 months ago #89078

Hi there are some ultrabite slam baits for sale, 3 for the price of 2 at tackle world and i was wondering if anyone had success with them? I feel that they are a bit stiffer than the berkley gulp that i know work...mainly going to use them in westlakes etc.

There is usually a good reason for these kind of sales.

Personally, the tally on slam baits is

0

Worked well up the coorong on the the ST's and Salmon not that long ago.

Reckon I remember a few snapper falling victim to them as well

right, thanks for that. I actually have tried the curltail grub on a jighead and instead of the tail swimming, the whole bait actually twisted as the tails were WAY too stiff.Just wondering if people have done well despite this. Probably hold off and get some gulp which are on sale at big W, 3 for $20 at the moment.
