Well I just got home from another fishing trip at Whyalla. But this just wasn’t any fishing trip...

I have done many trips now to Whyalla to have a fish and every time I have had a fish with Nev and Jason (ltfish). But today was the last day of this as Jason has decided to do what is right by his family and move back to King Island.

Last few trips to up there I have been met by Jason at the rocks within a hour of turning up and he doesn’t stop fishing until it is time to go home (back to adelaide) or change places. Don’t think I will ever forget the 4 am wake ups to go have a fish he is that keen.

Most of all Jason is a great bloke, I think I speak for everyone of his mates in saying that you will be truly missed. Whyalla just won’t be the same without you.

So I would like to wish you and your family a safe trip and hopefully I will have to make a trip down to king island on the cards in the not too distant future.

PS: Post up any stories you have with him.

to reapy him for being a great friend, he and his family, are coming around any second now for a slap up bbq ( jason suppling the meat) and ive just chucked a snapper on the hot plate for him... expect some pics later tonight or tomorrow.
JASON.. YOUR A LEGEND,,, WILL BE SAD TO SEE YOU GO.

i had a great night as well...
some pics...
THANKS TO MRS SCALEYTOME. for telling me HOW to cook a snapper...ive never cooked one before...
shes tells me to coat it in a bit of butter, a brushing of oil, squeeze a couple of lemons on it, and stuff it with some tomatoe and onion.
so i did and added a sprinkling of chives.
wrapped it and threw it on the hotplate.ive never cooked one, and when the tail fell off, i thought i had ruined it....but it tasted pretty darn good if i say so myself...THANKS MRS SCALEYTOM
must have been a good recipe judging by how much was eaten and nothing but bones are left now.and it was nice size snapper or 67cm i pulled in from the rocks a couple of weeks ago.

i went to get a pic of snapperhead who was sitting around having a brew, talking to the girls...
mrs scaley, and sandywhiting see a camera, and just have to play up to it...
mr scaley was dead on the money when he once told me, to just sit down, grab some popcorn and watch the circus when these 2 get together...
and it just so happened, that poor snapperhead was the target last night... at least they left me alone hahahahaha

first the nice photo..

THEN they picked on him hahahahaha

so with him watching, i knocked this off for him.
takes about 20 mins or so to do.
jason is going to tackle doing one himself at a later stage...
