$20 lifetime permit for Sth Para, this one they want $33 per year (to fish 1 reservoir only.
In any other state a $22 (approx) annual licence allows you to fish all waters.
What will you get for your $33?????? Who manages the money and where will it all go??
To fish only 1 waterway and like any other Gov't money grab in this state, no return for it.
I would not even consider such a rip off.

I LOVE THE IDEA OF THE WARREN OPENING UP AND AGREE THAT WE HAVE TO SUPPORT IT, but I to will find it hard to justify the $30bucks for this reservoir.
Im feeling that it is a bit dear for one reservoir for one year. If this Res had trout stocked it may make the proposition a bit better. I think this price would be fair for Mt Bold or Kangaroo Creek but think $20 - $25 per year for the Warren is a fairer price especially with no management.
Of course the next question is who is policiing the Reservoirs for permits and how are they going to enforce the use of permits? I can see a lot of people just rocking up and fishing and then when approached by a person of Authority - just going oh I didnt know you needed a permit! But I guess they will spend quite a bit on signs on entry to the Res saying fishing by permit only.
I guess I am questioning how they chose the Warren as the next reservoir to open up?
Anyway well done SARFAC because lets face it, if you wanna fish this SA Water Reservoir you are going to have to be prepared to pay the fees. I will watch eagerly at what is caught as I suspect there will be some trout in their.
