Crazy rain here (and elsewhere)... my word the rain fell in Barker last night.

here's what confronted me on my normal was to Kindy this morning.

so no question, the reddies will still be around, but hiding in their muky eddies and all that jazz... water good for my farmer friends... and more impotantly the mully's when some of this water hopefully hits the sea

Yep sure is some water up there ATM! Should be a good flush and reed clearer for the trout....

don't see too many eddies to move in and out of... but go for it (I'll bring the video camera)

alwyas a bit of fun to be had of you look hard enough.

We used to go down to the onk with large outgoing tides and you would get stationery waves at the mouth... great fun !

A few days after the rain has settled and even whilst the water is still a bit muddy, I like to sit just at the start of runs where the water is running into the top of pools and drift scrub worms down.

The fish just love em cos theres plenty of worms getting washed in as banks collapse. The get lazy and just take worms that are slowly drifting past their noses.

Ive caught some really nice rainbows up the gorge with this method.
