Basic beach driving principles mate, 18-20 PSI and keep your momentom and a bit of she'll be right!
What you mostly want to lookout for down that way are the shell piles, you sink fast and deep in that stuff.
Theres plenty of spots to camp all along just pick a gutter and find the spot near it!!

Take your own Recovery gear as well..noone likes pulling someone out with their stuff!

Hey carps

Ive fished salt creek a fair bit use to live up that way. Let your tyres down to 18psi and you'll be right nice and steady pace when on the beach as some of the mounds of shell grit drop off quite fast and its not real nice at speed with a truck full of gear, other than that not much else to worry about.

I would head in a 42mile crossing about 17kms up from the road house on the right turn in follow it down pay your park fee and head along the 4wd track go left as you get on the beach head up and find your self a nice gutter usually about 6 camp bays down theres a nice 1.

Enjoy mate

Should also say..get bait BEFORE hand, first trip we made years ago we did the local bait thing..every cast was watching where the pilchard went compared to where the hooks went. Nothing like refrozen pillies!!

great place to fish and go camping for a few days, there heaps to explore.

if u go in at the 42mile, the beach can be pretty rough and soft this time of year, theirs usually lots of big mounds of sand along the track, so just watch how fast your going coz they come up on u pretty quickly and will throw u around a bit.

as soon as you can feel the car starting to dig in and slow down, just stop coz it will only get worse. you should be fine with three cars. but as u said getting bogged can easilly ruin a trip.

gd luk & have fun

cheers

Stop off at the road house and have a talk with Adam he will let you know what the condition of the beach is, from what I can gather its pretty hairy at the moment in spots but thats winter at Salts

Just be sensible when driving carps.... basic 4wding skills will get you through - if you are unsure, get off your arse and go for a walk first.....

You shouldnt have any issues mate. But everyone gets bogged one day, so just don't panic... You will see wankers flying along the beach down there, but we can only hope they get caught axle deep in shell grit and learn their lesson!!
