TWO kayakers who capsized in rough seas at North Haven have been rescued.

Water Operations assisted the two men back to land and both are safe.

Ambulance crews are treating the men at the scene.

Who the hell would even consider kayaking in the weather we had yesterday?

Then again, I'm sure there'll be some excuse about an "unexpected" weather front moving in, or a "rogue wave" which got them, or how they were sucked outside the shelter of the marina they were fishing by some strange and unexplained undertow, or how pixies magicked them out there!

I hope these two dipsh*ts aren't anyone we know!
Fishing is a delusion entirely surrounded by liars in old clothes!

With a bit of luck, a small amount of embarassment with a touch of humiliation thrown in has learned these blokes a bit of a lesson. And it's very good that no one was badly damged in the process.
I doubt they'll be in a hurry to do it again.

The question is,,, should these morons have been left for natural selection to do it's thing or at the very least prevented from reproducing.

It sound like some peaple have not got the brains they were born with.

I though about going out on the River Murray yeterday but couldn't be bothered with driving to some where the clifs could sheltered you from the winds.

What I can't work out is why go out to open seas, Why not look for shelter areas. Not that I think there was any where you could have sheltered from wind like that. They were bad state wide.

Just Question does anyone knows if there would have been any sheltered areas around Port river or back of gardern Island that could have been fish safetly in wind like yesterday?????

Yea, I know I think my brains gone too.

There are many back creeks that are protected from the wind, tho not the rain..

DR_JOSH and I went out one day and it started to bucket down, we backed the kayaks under some mangrove trees to try get shelter, didn't really work, after about 10mins we gave up and just kept paddling along...

Soon as we pulled back out into the river system we copped more rain and a damn headwind, wasn't a nice paddle back to the boat ramp!
