Don't forget the trailer wheel bearings and brakes, ect.

Done mine a couple of weeks ago, including the water pump impeller.

Just needs a polish now.

Very wise advice!

Spring every year is the time when you can find all the boat owners at the ramp scratching their heads and looking at their motors, and people looking for jump starts.

After sitting idle all winter boats and trailers need a little love too!
Fishing is a delusion entirely surrounded by liars in old clothes!

So far just a few trips to Pt Hughes and a week at Titty Witty Beach.

Seen a few boat trailers on the side of Pt. Waikefield Rd with shot wheel bearings over the years.
Last Edit: 1 year, 5 months ago by Moggy23.

G'day all
just replaced my wheel bearing the other day found that there were chinese ones in the hubs when i took em off. replaced them with some american timkin bearings i'll feel happier towing now!
checked the brakes couple of the bolts had loosened up since the last service I'll be checking those more often. checked all the trailer nuts were tight as well as outboard securing fitments.
also changed the fuel filter (water separator) in the boat, that'll keep the nasties outa the E-TEC.
Checked heaps of other bits & pieces i'm all ready to go all i need is some decent bloody weather! then

Already have a three week wait.

Never mind good things come to those who wait apparently, but yes trailer bearings are one of the must do's also.

Just wont be this weekend though
