



Elliston
Whiting fishing has been good in Anxious Bay and by the island while at the jetty tommies are the main catch.
Lock’s Well
It has been quiet on the big salmon but there are still large salmon trout size around.
Sheringa
All beaches have mullet, tommies and salmon trout; the first beach has the bonus of a few King George whiting.
Plenty of salmon have been caught from the several schools working along the coastline.
Convention Beach
Salmon up to 4 kilo, flathead and large tommies and mullet have been caught. Fishing is much easier now that most of the rocks are well covered with a layer of sand.
Farm Beach
Fishing has improved with boats getting better numbers of whiting on most grounds; a couple of boats never even went past the sticks.

Coffin Bay
Reports are too many undersize whiting but more than enough salmon trout, tommies and garfish for a feed.
There are patches of legal whiting around, its just a matter of continually looking until they are located. Mount Dutton Bay has provided some good feeds of legal whiting over the last few weeks.
Port Lincoln
North Shields jetty and beach is where many of the yellowfin whiting anglers are concentrating their efforts; large numbers of fish are visible but frustratingly not that interested in taking any of the variety of baits offered.
The local jetties have snook and squid and the town jetty has seen mullet from the shallows and a few King George taken near the end.
At the main wharf, mixed size tommies and salmon trout are the main catch.
Plenty of King George whiting have been caught in the local bays by anglers working the cork and grape weed. Bigger whiting are biting better at night with boat limits being achieved fairly quickly.
Outside the bays there are whiting at Taylors, Carcase and the lumps as well as Dangerous and Thistle Islands.
Williams Island, West point, Hopkins islands have nannygai, a few snapper and one or two blue morwong.
At Louth Bay try Rabbit Island for whiting, garfish are also in the bay but they are not large and there are stilkl snapper being caught in front of the town.
Tumby Bay
Second creek has both mullet and salmon trout for the anglers, and out at the group there were big garfish, wsome whiting and a few snook.
Closer to town there were whiting coming from the berry weed.
Port Neill
Local beaches have both yellow fin and mullet and south of the town salmon are being caught from the beachges and rocks.
Most boat fishermen are happy with snook, garfish, squid and medium snapper but the whiting are very patchy.
Off the jetty and breakwater there are tommies, squid and snook and try early morning for the garfish.
Arno Bay
King George are very patchy and big snapper are hard work to locate.
The beach and jetty shallows have yellow fin whiting and there are squid and snook around.
Port Lincoln Anglers Club
Mixed bags of whiting, flathead, garfish, tommies, mullet and salmon trout were caught by Club members fishing Farm Beach shoreline last Sunday.
Overall winner for the day was Heather Hampel on 215pts with veteran Pat Prow runner up on 200 pts.
Individual; section winners were:-
Men - Nathan Paterson 175 pts; John Peters 150 pts
Women - Heather Hampel 215 pts; Annette Brasington 150 pts
Veterans - Pat Prow 200 pts; Tom Tierney 125 pts
Juniors - Riley Peters 80 pts; Reece Chamberlain 25 pts.
The final outing of the season will be at Wisemans Beach on Sunday June 5th leaving Spot On at 8.00am.
