Remember, if you have any photo's of that prized catch, just sent them to portlincoln@spotonfishing.com.au with a brief comment.

Tristan Miller won a trip up north to Arnehmland for himself and two others. Jamie Sellen was lucky enough to get an invite and is pictured with a big Queeny caught on a 3’6” Ugly Stik and 1000 size reel. Tristan and his dad Sam are holding up a nice Spanish Mack. Tristan pictured with what he most wanted to catch, a 35kg popper caught GT. (Guide Andy Smith on the right)

Now for what was biting and where

Elliston

The jetty is still proving reliable for tommies and squid.

Sheringa

Tommies, whiting and mullet were caught off the First Beach and a few salmon were found in the surf.

Farm Beach

Boaties found whiting and squid but report that launching from the beach can be tricky due to piles of dead seaweed.

Coffin Bay

Still hearing good reports of whiting in the bays both for boaties and land based anglers fishing the rock ledges. The odd snapper was rumoured to be around Seal Corner and Goats Head.

Port Lincoln

Yellowfin whiting along the foreshore were biting well before the tides slowed towards the dodge. The jetty and main wharf had squid, salmon trout, tommies and the odd king George. Boaties found whiting in the Proper, North Shore, Spalding Cove, Porter Bay, Taylors Landing and Carcass Rock.

Tumby Bay

Squid and mullet can be found off the jetty and around the bay. Whiting in close were not big but at the Group were in better size and numbers.

Port Neill

Tommies, squid and the odd snook were found along the jetty and breakwater. Boaties scored big whiting and southern beaches had mullet, salmon and yellowfin whiting.

Port Lincoln Anglers Club

Sunday the 31st of May is a Ledge / Dutton East / Coffin Bay 6 of a species competition, leaving clubrooms at 8am.
