Port Noarlunga boat ramp

Gday Guys and girls, just wondering if anyone knew what the go is for the boat ramp next to port noarlunga jetty? are the public allowd to use it???

G'day gbowe,Yes the Pt Noarlunga boat ramp is for public use but it only has small area for vehicles down there................CheersMJ

Used it many times to launch and retreive the surf clubs rubber ducks and surf boats down there. High tide only unless extremely small/shallow boat. The reef is a major issue there and honestly..most times we would pull the motor up and glide in instead of scrubbing out and destroy the reef and prop guard.Better off launching at Moana/aldinga/sullies....Christies is still accessable as well from memory and a much better ramp to (no reef !)

the reason i was asking is because we do a lot of fishing around selicks but the swell down there when launching can create a bit of drama... we have a 4.5m tinny

Too big for porties I reckon mate. Christies is no better if there is a swell up.Moana can get nice litle gutter down by the fence for launching. Used to launch a mates jets ski down there a fair bit.
