anyone caught good carp at the torrens ??

Just wondering if anyone has caught any good carp at the River torrens lately.

last one I caught went 12 pounds from a pool around Klemzig area.......that was end of March though

"the Torrens" is a pretty broad and general area if I say so myself........what sort of suburb are you talking about?

Yes,I have quite a number of spots along the river that yield various species at varying times of the year.Was trying to ascertain where you were trying.The City has a number of top spots,and you've obviously found one.

haven't caught much carp, but i've caught alot of crap. i think the fish have started to thin out as the water temps drop. if you want a good easy fix of some lite line action, Salmon Trout are very plentiful this time of year.

"easy" seems to be the word.........not too many land based people these days are prepared to work for their fish......plenty of carp around if you want to work for them,even in the dead of winter......lazy sods.....there's a difference between "catching" and "fishing" you know.........perhaps you don't know;there lies the problem..........
