DAIWA's Discontinuation of Top End Reels

have read and been informed that Daiwa has discontinued some high end reels which only a few are left of each through out Australia.the following spinning reels have now finished production:Morethan Branzino 3000SALTIGA Z SERIES INCLUDING EXPEDITION AND DOGFIGHTExist Hyper Custom 2508 and 3012CATALINA 4500, 4500H, 6500 Emeraldas Colossal 2508I UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE SALTIGAS AS THE NEW RANGE IS INBUT THE REST UNSURE OF WHY THEY STOPD MAKING THEM espeically the Branzino and catalinas such good reels for valueany one else heard of any news like this and maybe to why ?

No idea why they are being discontinued, but at the prices they are selling the Catalina I couldn't resist and snapped one up last week.

I would expect it won't be too long before there's a new model catalina or equivalent out to replace them.

I would assume they wouldn't just be rubbing out their range without having future replacements up their sleeves. Shimano are releasing new season reels atm and into the future, so you'd think Daiwa must be following suit.

this may mean there may be a few top end Dawia's floating around cheep in a few months :Dwe can only hope
