Rod repair

I recently bought a new 7 ft berkley graphite soft plastic rod. Even more recently i managed to break it. It s a pretty clean break about 3 inches from the top. Can this be repaired? Can anyone give me any information regarding repairing it myself or know the name of someone with a good reputation for repairing rods? Any help greatly appreciated.

I cant remember the shops name, but as you head towards sth rd, coming up 2wards the end of Grange Rd, therte's a small tackle shop on your right.Old Arthur there will see you right on a rod repair, usually at a good price

South Oz rods is a great place for custom rods and repairs.That said, once a blank has been broken, it's impossible to get it back to even close to what it was.Good luck though. Hopefully you'll find a satisfactory course of action.Cheers.
