fishnuts 55
I've been tying a few Bonefish flies for a trip in January to the Cocos Islands. This was something different for me to tie instead of Christmas Island Specials to help break the monotony.I liked this fly after seeing one so I thought I should add it to my collection for the trip.I'm really looking forward to kayaking and walking the flats flyfishing in the Cocos Islands and hopefully smacking a few of the monster Bonefish and GT's this place is known to hold.Cheers Dazz
Guest
Nice looking fly mate. I reckon theyd work really well on the big yellowfin whiting that abound throughout franklin harbour at cowell.

Guest
If flys can have a bit of weight incorporated into them then there's no reason why you couldn't flick them around on say a 2kg threadline outfit for whiting either.
fishnuts 55
The dumbell eyes at the rear are for the weight mate and yes they can definitely be cast with a very light spin outfit too.Cheers Dazz
