kayakfisher 0
I think by this site he means strike hook. Are you talking about spearfishing? I think most people just use an inner tube with a bucket inside it. If your not talking about spearfishing just disregard this answer. If you are I don't think you will be able to see far enough in the murray.
davetheslave 0
float tubes are an inflatable pontoon type seat you can sit in them and fish they have built in rod holder and pockets for storage of gear propulsion is by way of fins which attach to your feet much the same as divers use.they are used extensively in the usa mostly for freshwater fly fishing.i am hoping to adapt one for use in our shallow sheltered bays and estuaries chasing flathead tommies mullet gar whiting etc and perhaps in the murray.if anyone knows where i could purchase one here in australia the info would be much appreciated. tonyb 1,017
Yep, starting to be popular in the UK so may be a source there to follow up on the net :-\I know the Yanks also use the float tubes for duck hunting on their swamps. Don't know how tasty the Alligators find them tho' :stir:

davidbloop 0
I'd be too scared of one of my hooks puncturing the tube if i was in an inflatable
