Mr_Willy 3
Never seen much caught at the boat ramp, but plenty on plastics and hard bodies in the channel by boat... not a big Bream fisherman myself, don't find them very exciting to catch, but definitely worth exploring the whole of Mundoo Channel up to the barrage to find the Bream if your keen on them... not sure I'd be eating them in there though.... is very brackish water a lot of the time.... bricks 24
What's wrong with brackish water?
Ale 301
I reckon that little pebble wall in the "S" of the channel before it opens to the main channel would have some good fish. Its pretty deep there and the wall goes all the way to the water edges
Mr_Willy 3
What's wrong with brackish water?Nothing at all... just not sure I'd eat fish from shallow water that is full of mud and slime a lot of the time.. hence why I don't eat fish from the Murray.... patricklawlor 0
yea I had a slow cruise past that rock wall about a month ago, I was thinking along there and along the 4knot area around the jetties, can you go left from the ramp further upstream
Allroy 236
Hi Patrick, yes you can go left of the ramp and upstream towards the mundoo barrage...plenty of good spots to pull a bream from along the way.I ate a 35cm Bream from there a couple of seasons ago and it was the best tasting bream I have ever eaten
