Onkaparinga plastics

Recommended Posts

Sorry I'm not giving away secret spots or anything but you would be safe anywhere from salt fleet bridge to the mouth. You can launch at the aquatics club right next to salt fleet bridge. For plastics choices I'd say zman 2.5 grubs in motor oil. I have caught bream and salmon trout on them. I would like to help with mulloway lures but I havnt caught one yet :boot: I might even take my yak out friday so might see you down thereGood luck :f

I like to use my kayak in the stretch between south road and the new rail bridge. There are several places to launch, perry's bend, a little car park next to the old rail bridge that is now a bike path and another little parking area just downstream from the new rail bridge are a few. Google maps is your friend. ;)As far as lures, any smallish soft plastic on an appropriately sized jighead will work, as will small to medium hard bodies either cast and retrieved or trolled behind the yak.
