shaw76 0
Hi all am heading to salts at end of month and planning to fish hard through the night. But ive never done this before. Is it just as simple as casting and hoping ur in the zone and keeping contact with ur rod or can u glo stick ur rod tip throw out and see what happens. Guessing u need to find ur gutter during the day. Can just see me constantly reeling in to recast coz I will have no idea where my baits landing
Fishunter86 3
Tape a glowstick to the tip mate, works a treat. If you know how far you can cast, make sure you find a gutter you can reach easily enough
plankton 725
Glowsticks work well, although I've got some little led lights that attach to my rods which I prefer. The few times I've been to Salts there's usually a good gutter right against the shore all along the beach. It's always nice to find your spot during the day if you can, but most nights there's enough light to see where waves are breaking and where they're not.
