Totes 48
Hi All,just wondering if anyone has heard news of the new Black Terez rod range for 2014?looking to purchase a new stick in the next couple of weeks.cheers
Knackers 696
In the US you can order them in black, red or pearl white based on the same blank. It seems we only get to see the pearl white. I don't know of a new terez range coming out in black. Good rods though, I have 2.
Totes 48
cheers Knackers,I went into my local tackle shop and the blokes are saying that there's a possibility for the new black terez with cork grips. As brought in by the SA Shimano rep.I held off purchasing the standard white awaiting confirmation.
Knackers 696
Check this site out:http://www.meltontackle.com/products/shimano-terez-spinning-rods.htmlI forgot the "fighting lady yellow".I imagine if they are cork grips they are a for Australia line only and maybe a spinning, soft plastics, whiting and bream type rod? I just had a trawl of the web and typing in "new terez" brings up stuff from 2010? I reckon you have the latest gos and we'll hear about it soon.
mrballs 12
The black ones are hopefully going to be available in around a months time... Well to the Eastern states first anyway.
Dylbaa 174
Does this mean we may be seeing sales come on for the original pearl white model? I own one and it's a beast!

Yakmando 49
Well, take a look at what the R&A fb page just posted here already. No cork though. Tovo64 and Dylbaa
Totes 48
Went down to R&A today. The black is here, shorter butt, no cork grip. feels more parabolic throughout the entire blank.I reckon the newer rods are better, despite being subjective.cheers, Totes

Same rods, same blank, just different colour. They are no different but happy to be proven wrong.Link again. http://www.meltontackle.com/products/shimano-terez-spinning-rods.html
Totes 48
I had both 30-50lb and 40-80lb in the 6'9" side by side.definitely thought the Black was the better of the two.might be due to the butt/grips being shorter? and possibly reel seat further down?could have been that the Sustain FG looked better on the black, I dunno haha.like stated before, it could be subjective. grips are definitely different. grip change in itself would suggest a different rod?
