Luke5600 61
Looking at respooling my 4000fj symetre soon as the fireline its currently got has seen better days, at the moment I'm running 20lb fireline with a 25lb fluorocarbon leader and just trying to decide whether to stick with fireline or give another braid a shot
Send-it 64
i use Fins braid. it seems good,....but i haven't used others to compare it to. but i am getting good life out of the Fins. i use 30lb on the deep water rod, 10lb on the whiting type rods, and 6lb on the bream type rods. i'm still using nylon on the beach rod though. Moggy23 625
I use Suffix 832 for it's smoothness coming of reels & lays better on overhead reels. Normally use a FG knot to fluorocarbon leaders or the polmar knot direct to terminal tackle. mrballs
bjorn2fish 4,612
I've been using Daiwa Tournament Hyper PE on my 2000 Freams for flicking lures at bream and mulloway. I have 10lb which is overkill for what I've been using it for but the 10lb is almost equivalent to 4lb Fireline. It's super smooth braid that lays nicely and casts a mile. I highly recommend it. SAYAKA 1
Hyper 8 pe braid small diameter and nice to cast
plankton 725
I really like Fireline and use it on most of my threadline reels, for overheads I prefer a proper braided line. Depending on how much you have on the reel, you can take it off and reverse it as usually the stuff down deeper doesn't have as much wear. If you only put on a 125yd spool then probably not. Dylbaa 174
Sufix 832 does it for me, very smooth! Hasn't let me down yet I also use tuffline, not too bad either, I'd rather the sufix 832 though Moggy23
keenfisho 1,416
ive used fins, fireline, daiwa tournament and have just spooled up a reel with some suffix 832 fins: loved it hardly knotted lasted for ages have only just got rid of it after about 6 years fireline: still use it on two of my bream rods but do find it fades very quickly daiwa tournament: very small diameter for pound rating but find it does get a few wind knots and is expensive suffix 832: only just spooled up with it and only used it once and so far i like it will let you know what i think after it gets tested soon on a decent snapper bjorn2fish
Tinker 1,645
Fins XS, Hyper and in the skinny stuff I have a couple of reels with Power Pro. I tried some Rovex braid in 30lb for a cod rod, wasn't bad, but it was so thick you could knit your Nanna a jumper with it. For 20lb like you want, I'd be using the Hyper.
