Send-it 64
hi soft plastic guru's. are the soft plastic worms effective just as a bait on a hook? or do they have to be 'worked' like a soft plastic grub or similar?
rooboy123 9
Hey mate, you can use gulp worms as bait. I've used them on a paternoster rig like bait before. Even used this way you can still keep them moving. Send-it
Tinker 1,645
Another tip. If you ever have live bloodworms, mix your SP worms in them and coat them in the slime. Keep fresh in resealable sandwich bags. Works better than SFactor... Send-it and bjorn2fish
Langley 30
have caught some flatties tommies and salmon with that method still works just as good i guess!!
trihull 177
SP Worms work a treat, cut them up into small pieces like you would a normal worm.... and thread them on the hook just the same....
Underpants 1,543
Nup but is on the 'things to do' list..... thinking the coming wading season. Gonna have a decent crack with the Gulps & Marukyu Isome's targeting YFW. With YFW i work worm baits accross the flats, more a slow retrieve tho, maybe with a few faster jerks thrown in. Will be trying similalry with the SP versions.
