Brankim 945
And while I'm at it, does anyone know what the deal is with these? What do they mean by "non drag"? As in no way for fish to take line? Or some other system besides back winding? Been trying to find out, but haven't managed to find out. Shurely they wouldn't make something that hi-tec that's completely useless??

Hugo 120
X 2 for the Dynamix Estuary rod from Ray and Annes. Matched with a 2500 sized reel, light line and circle hooks, these rods are almost purpose built for bait fishing whiting. Enough flex in the tip section to flick light terminal tackle a good distance without losing softer baits, mine has easily handled salmon, tailor, dart, sand whiting and bream off NSW beaches (with some patience), so will handle most of what we are likely to catch shore based in SA. Being 2 piece it is handy for travel and also being a bit longer they sit nice and high in a sand spike to get over any shore dump.
Kelvin 2,198
In Daiwa reels, size 1000 and 2000 are interchangeable. I use a Certate Custom Finesse 2004 spool on my Luvias 1000 and it fits fine. Any 2500 size is interchangeable 2506, 2508, 2500 etc. Brankim
Kelvin 2,198
Non drag longcast spool threadlines are mainly for tournament casting as the lack of drag eliminates spool slippage (and finger cuts) during power casting. Brankim and storm boy
