All caught using home tied flies, the trout on size 14 or 16 dries with 3wt rod, and the carp on size 8 bread fly on 5wt rod (bloody bent the 5wt I'll tell ya!!!) The trout look brilliant but that carp really takes the cake, probably one of the biggest I have ever seen. Would have taken some real skill to land, especially using that trout net. Magic stuff. Never been on the fly fishing section before... well done mate, should have weighed it.. Don't think they get much bigger than that...?! Definaty thinking of saving up for a fly rod now 2!!
