Benwah 92
Could anybody supply me the link for the status of the five barrages down Goolwa way. A while back I found a site that showed how many gates were open, can't seem to find it now. Think it was SA water. Went down the other day & it was full of fresh on top, with the only pure saltwater above Tauwitchere. Didn't get a touch. Thanks in advance.
Underpants 1,543
Had the link bookmarked but the page seems to have disappeared and i get the "page not found" error . Just had a quick squiz. Maybe this one? http://www.sawater.com.au/community-and-environment/the-river-murray/river-reports/daily-flow-report
Benwah 92
Thanks Pants. Do you reckon the # under the gates is how many are open? The old page used to show how many gates were open & what time it was updated, it was quite clear. Am using phone, so excuse me if it's clear as day on the full website. doobie 5,802
It's not really clear how many are open under 'gates' . Boundary creek shows .05 sso maybe only half the gate is open ?? Goolwa shows 17, mundoo 6, ewe island 5 and tauwitcherie 25. The only opening time I found was for goolwa barraage 8.30 to 12.30 and 1.30 to 4.30. Couldn't find times for other barrages on any search but there are phone numbers for each lock under 'lockage ' tab on left if that helps.
Benwah 92
I'll have to keep an eye on that page & see if the gate # changes. Unfortunately it appears SA Water don't give out the information anymore. A shame it was an interesting & useful tool.
Benwah 92
The gate #'s have changed. So this is probably the info I'm after. Thanks all.
