tstav 7
Looking for a new rod to match my saragosa 20k filled with 50lb braid. Looking at daiwa demonblood 82XH (pe 8) or the Ocea offshore 792 gt stickbait. Will be used for kings and casting big baits off jettys e.t.c The idea of getting another custom rod made is tempting as well but open for opinion if anyone has any suggestions. adamibinfishin 224
Lots of options out there buddy. I would probably get a rod built from Steve Morris at topshot tackle. He has built all my customs. Can't get a better rod in my opinion and Steve knows alot. Depending on budget too. Cheers
Knackers 696
Wilson do a 2 piece popping rod in the venom range. I have 2 venoms, both in the offshore spin range. They are nice rods.
AquaticResearch1 1,046
Kings on lure or livies? I use an Okuma Azores 4-6 pe 7'8" for landbased kings and rays. If I chase anything powerful off a jetty it's what I end up using. Extremely tough, durable rod thus far, but not ideal for chucking the lighter stickbaits and lures very far, particularly running heavy traces.
lureaddict 332
I have a 10k saragosa on a 50lb shimano terez ive heard yhem refered to as broom sticks but totally disagree! Can cast light lures no probs as well as massive poppers and big baits. Got mine for a steal at a pawn broker who obviously didn't know its true value.

I don't recommend them anymore because of the haters! If I was to have a dedicated off the rocks/jetty rod for casting it would be a Terez due to how robust the heavy versions are. lureaddict
Knackers 696
Another option is longer rod. This is what I use for the same purpose. Wilson 10-24 kg spin rod and a Dogfight.
