Alexsfishin1 781
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has local fishing knowledge for Port Augusta (landbased)? I'll be staying near the main road bridge next week, thinking about flicking for flatties, salmon, bream? Livies for kingfish, mulloway or snapper? Even rays? Cheers in advance. :) Tinker
Tinker 1,645
BIG bream in Pt Pirie, so I am guessing there would be some lunkers further up the gulf at Pt Augusta. Would be awesome if you could pin a good size kingfish up there, definitely the place to try. Don't hear many fishing reports from Pt Augusta, but I hope you have a good trip anyway mate. Kelvin 2,195
Been more than 10 years since I fished it landbased. Lots of ST near the boat ramp. Ray on dead bait in the main channel. Few gar and tommies on the surface and snook at night. KGW on the bottom fishing from the footbridge. Alexsfishin1
Tom_Fishin 201
There's a few salmon trout that hang around the boat ramp also, you might be able to score a few Bream around the boat ramp pontoons.Regards,Tom Alexsfishin1
