Meppstas 4,962
Well I have upgraded from my Canon SX500IS PowerShot camera to a Canon EOS 700D SLR Camera, have had it for a couple of weeks now, It's a lot different to the powershot that's for sure. Slowly getting used to all the mod cons on it, will take a little while longer before I'm completely confident with it though.. This camera will "NOT" be coming in a river with me at all.. still have two SX150IS compact powershot camera that will be used for my trout fishing in the rivers.. Any way here's a few pf my practice shots... All taken from in & from my backyard. cheers Adrian Tom_Fishin, BarneyB, doobie and 5 others

doobie 5,802
Beautiful photos Adrian and certainly agree that the camera won't be going near any water - don't want that "oops" come into it. Definitely will take some time to work out all the things you can do with SLR's - I've had a DSLR for years and still only use 'auto' most times as it gets too confusing for me Meppstas
Meppstas 4,962
Thanks guys, I'm glad it came with a DVD as well as an instruction manual disk, also the instruction manual book of 381 pages.. Trouble is they make it look all so easy on the DVD.. lofty64, BarneyB and Tinker
