SurfcaztR 707
ebay pvc bait pump $37 incl delivery seems reasonable Just depends on how much use if you should spend the extra on S/steel $
doobie 5,802
When I was looking at a pump I did the sums of making a 'good' one using pvc. Costed up at Bunnings and was slightly cheaper than a stainless steel one, but still didn't know whether it would perform well enough. I watched a few youtubes on making them, some where quite fancy, but in the end I purchased a S/steel - for the extra, I think was about $20 - 30 more, I knew it will perform + it would have save me all the time in making one. Also,, the suction plug was hard to find as Bunnings didn't have, but were on ebay. One thing though, after using a half dozen times, and washing/clean it after each use, I put it away for about 8 months and when I went to use again the washer had deteriorated - which I wasn't happy about. Emailed Wilsons and they sent washer kit and extra washer for free - good service (especially as I had purchased from BCF - which I told them).
