FROSTONE1 66
Went down to port gawler yesterday I managed 2 undersized bream and a st. but had a great day paddleing around in the yak and spotting a crazy amount of fish just none of them hungry. I would have seen hundreds of mullet, bream and about a half dozen mulloway against the bank. But also unfortunately spotted some toys of the adult variety sitting in the shallows only at or gawler I guess. Squid Inc., Meppstas, doobie and 2 others
AquaticResearch1 1,046
Good to take note of the mulloway and such sitting around and what stage of the tide it was. A different tide stage and they may come on the chew around the mullet congregations. As for the other things.... Well. Ideally wouldnt want to foul hook one of those KIDNEY SLAPPER, Meppstas and doobie
FROSTONE1 66
That's it I put all the info in the little black book and try again on Saturday and the adult toy was one for a male as well I took a flick to post on here but thought there may be youngsters on here so decided against it but was definitely one of the weirder things I've seen on a fishing trip lol doobie
doobie 5,802
A good paddle around anyway and will be interesting on your next trip to see if they are on the bite with a different tide level etc. With the cold weather I bet the 'toy' had shrunk' !! bjorn2fish 4,612
Haha that would have been funny. Glad you caught a few fish
Underpants 1,543
Intriguing and frustrating at the same time. Agree with Doobs, worthwhile checking things out again when there is some tidal movement, given Saturdays dodge. This weekend's looking the goods! Glad your car was unharmed too!
