Sunovabeach 46
Am wondering can you store a couple of 20 litre buckets of sea water at home for those odd occasions you forget to bring some home with you after you have caught some crabs? If so, how long would it be ok for? Just hate crabs cooked in fresh water or even water with lots of salt added, just not the same.
Jimmy. 173
depends on the collection point. usually a day or so is max for fresh water collected locally due to the added nutrients etc. I used to have a marine fish tank and unless used that day it had a lot of dead microbes etc in there and raised the phosphates and nitrates alot
SaltyFlyer 298
Usually best 2 days maximum, stored in a cool place .... no longer ... Should try and keep a note on the boat / even a sticker ..... "Remember the Salt water " .... SF
