mattmann1985 62
Hoping to get some guidance regarding roof racks, I have a swag that's too big to put in my car being that I have a Camry. I want something temporary to use for weekends away etc. What are people's thoughts on soft racks as a temporary solution? Off topic good salmon session on Saturday night Cheers doobie and Squid Inc.
Softy 2,991
Soft racks will do the job fine for a swag. I know a couple of people who use them with kayaks and over time the weight has caved the roof in a little. You will be right if only using it for a swag. Keep an eye on gummy/fb marketplace they are always coming up cheap, saw some the other day for $20 mattmann1985 and doobie

mrfish 327
I use soft racks for my kayak which is 33 kg. They should be absolutely fine for a swag. mattmann1985
