malb 62
So with some really nice weather and conditions coming up over the weekend, the burning question is - watch the Grand Final, or take the boat out? Must admit, I'm struggling a bit! doobie and Squid Inc.

malb 62
I was kinda wondering if there'd be a few less boats at the marina than usual on a Saturday. I don't usually go out on weekends, but maybe this time. Or just save it 'till Monday. doobie

Even better beats , the week end rush and lots of Wankers to put up with . doobie
Tinker 1,645
I am sick of football. Get it over and done with I say.And if I had a choice between fishing or watching blokes running around chasing a funny looking ball I would most definitely be fishing.Bring on the cricket. And bring on the hectic spring and summer fishing seasons.Sent from my SM-J120ZN using Tapatalk lofty64 and doobie

Yorky 309
Fishing , the outcome of the game will be publicised, watching it won't change the outcome. Fishing is like sex, every time you miss out on it you never catch it up Cheers Yorky lofty64, doobie, Softy and 1 other 2

Rod 773
Tricky with the timing for me, but would like to go fishing after a long winter and zip fishing. Not a huge footy fan but watch most of the crows games and usually the grand final. Those who are keen could follow Lofty's advice or a laptop with one of those tv antenna software things or streaming on your phone like david, or stream it through phone on to laptop. Some may even have the big marina boats and enjoy the best of both worlds, big screen and a line over the side, perhaps a shardy and crayfish sandwiches lol I wish Cheers Rod Wert and lofty64
peatop 224
I stopped following football once i left school, however i never liked watching most sports on tv, i often went to games at the MCG with school mates and loved the atmosphere, these days it's a no brainer if it's suitable to be on the water that's where i want to be Softy
