doobie 5,802
Like many of us I'm sure, but what do you do with any left over braid? I'm thinking of ditching it, but there are other uses for it.
dmck 628
Use it as backing. Looks like you have some useable lengths there. buy smaller reels and use them for squid etc I have a few Shimano IX4000 and they catch everything... even big snapper. If all else fails ... sent it all to me... doobie and mrfish
doobie 5,802
yep could use them as backing dmck - didn't actually think of that as I only had mono in my head for backing Did just buy a Daiwa Crossfire 2500 yesterday cheaply, so might just do it on that. Otherwise I'll send them to you Thanks for your thoughts.

ShoreJigger 171
If it’s over about 30lb, I use it to make homemade assist hooks for Yellowfin Whiting. 40lb power pro in this pic. Squid Inc., Hunter69 and Softy

Yeh could do, although I'd prefer all one length on my smaller reels. Might use as backing on larger reels though. Thanks Rybak 22 hours ago, HB tragic said: Grandkid's reels? Regards, HBt. doobie 5,802
Think I'll use as backing as suggested on a larger reel. Thanks all for your suggestions
