Left over Braid - any use?

Recommended Posts

yep could use them as backing dmck - didn't actually think of that as I only had mono in my head for backing :)

Did just buy a Daiwa Crossfire 2500 yesterday cheaply, so might just do it on that.

Otherwise I'll send them to you ;)

Thanks for your thoughts.

As you might be aware - I use it to tie up flies or anything else that needed binding

I'll keep that in mind :)

Practice your braid to leader knots Doobs.......

lol, yes, but am ok with doing them - although I could stand in a bath of water to practice as if I was wading 🤔

Tie them all together to make enough line possibly to spool another reel using a braid to braid knot.

Yeh could do, although I'd prefer all one length on my smaller reels.  Might use as backing on larger reels though. Thanks Rybak

If it’s over about 30lb, I use it to make homemade assist hooks for Yellowfin Whiting. 40lb power pro in this pic.

All around 15-20lb, but good thought Hunter.
