solidute 45 Posted April 15, 2021 Report Share Posted April 15, 2021 Need a quick guide Mate had a tangle with my paravane, no dramas common occurrence Problem is lure was cut and line was also cut from paravane and that line is long gone So, putting on new line but no idea how long the line between lure and paravane should be? doobie 5,802 Posted April 15, 2021 Report Share Posted April 15, 2021 I don't think there is any 'rule' for length of leader but I wouldn't have the lure too close behind the paravane as it could spook the fish. For memory when I used them, many many years ago, I think my leader length was around 4-5 mts long. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
