BTZ 2
Hey, so a mate and me are on the hunt for some Redfin, but the problem is we don't know where to look or what to look for? We know that they are in Myponga through word of mouth, but is there any other places we should be looking for, or any areas? I've never heard of anyone catching redfin in the onkaparinga before which is where I normally fish so I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to look for doobie
doobie 5,802
I'm sure some will have some ideas for you. Don't quote me, but I thought I read somewhere recently that redfin have been caught in the much higher areas of the onkaparinga.
Meppstas 4,956
The upper reaches of the Onkaparinga River used to have redfin in it back in the day when I used to fish for trout in it in and around the Verdun area and along River Road.. I;m going back a lot of years now, probably changed now.. doobie
Soobz 557
Myponga is your best bet right now I reckon, big schools in there, but harder without a yak. If shore based I'd be trying a fair way west of the car park as it's pretty shallow a quite a way out from the shore on most of the southern banks of the ressie. BTZ 2
thanks for the advice guys. Honestly, I'm just hoping to catch anything other than Bream. I keep catching Bream all the time (albeit, usually undersized) and want to try and catch something else for once
