Kenji Meatball 5
Hey all, Just joined the forum looks to be a great bunch! I'm moving to Sellick's Beach for a sea change as well as looking forward to getting back to more regular beach fishing, any tips for Sand Worms in the area? cheers! doobie
doobie 5,802
Howdy and welcome to site - lots of info here, so enjoy looking through. I'm not sure if you can get sand worms from Sellicks (maybe wrong), but there a lot rocks/pebbles along the beach (more noticeable when sand has been washed away after some rough weather). Plus vehicles harden it all up too. Maybe Silver Sands bch (but may have hidden rocks/pebbles also). Aldinga bch there would be a chance. Can get them at Port Willunga (north end), Maslins bch (definitely north end ) and Moana bch (south end) Good luck and I'm impressed you're trying for them - hard buggers to get Kenji Meatball and yellow door 1

Kenji Meatball 5
*Update on my "Any Sand Worms at Sellick's Beach?" question. Yep they are there for sure, only had time to pop down once in the past few weeks and give it a crack. I managed to attracted a few up and got my fingers on three, but the buggers gave me the slip...! they seemed a good size FYI. With more practice I hope to actually pull some out, its getting personal now... hahaha. doobie and Wert
