That's one hell of a fish there Nev, can only imagine the fight it put up :)

loved it... i headed over at 4am, in thick fog, registered, and headed to sheringa.driving along the dirt road, in thick fog, and the sun just coming up... the sky lit up with great colours, so heres me arm out the window taking a sunrise pick when WHAM... ran into a 20ft tall sanddune getting bogged completly.couple hrs later and i got dragged out.bloke laughing, and i told him i was going to sheringa beach... there was 20 people there he said, catching nothing, so he showed me another spot, flat water, no gutters, and i said yeah right, he stayed while i cast in, and 20 seconds later that baby took off... tail walking....great fight.i lost a BIGGER one 10 mins later .. at my feet... draggin him up the bank, and a wave hit him..slack line, and he spat the hooks.

Not the biggest ever but my boys first and my favourite pic. He has, as you can see, a broken arm and for some reason he decided to tie the shoelace i use to tie my rod bag around his head. I reckon he looks like some ferel living on a deserted island catching sambos in his teeth. It is the fish that hooked him on fishing so i love the pic for many reasons :)Posted Image

Congrats tako !! How did you go down there on the weekend ?? Saw you and your mate walk past us at the start of the lagoon.

Ended up with 4 that day, worst trip down there this year. Should of been there a few days earlier imo. Was a good trip anyway. ;)
