Beautiful spring day, tried for some trout on fly in the hills. A few spotted, but not alot of action. 4 fish landed. Ran into a group of SAFFA gents, having a bbq and and catch up, along the heysen trail. When i got back to my car there was a letter and a contact number for the Association . Jolly o
I have always been told new moon leading up to full moon, or more specifically three days leading up to full moon. Also mostly fish west/far west coast.
Seeing as I just fish when I have the time, but would like to target better in the future, what is the consensus? I know they go nuts when the barometer drops quickly.
Mine to this day is 44.5cm
Between two of us we caught easily 70 Reddies......
Got 3 Fish in 3 casts they went 42.5cm, 43.5cm then this one at 44.5cm
Was an epic day......
Yeah most of mine lately have been on weedless Z-man grubs in shimmer pearl and midnight oil. This fish got pinned by my mate on a shimmer pearl and then went for my grub on the way in. And three big lunker redfin followed it in to see what all the fuss was about. Well fed fish. Sent from my SM-J120ZN using Tapatalk
