This session we were going to target Snapper, can't imagine BR and UHF going for anything else :laugh:Hit the ramp at 4am and headed out, on the way out I started seeing little glowing things in the what wash of the boat, I said "Hey Brett there's a lot of lice around!" Brett's response was something along the lines of "ahhh :c "Got to the drop, I was actually feeling a little green and slipped a Kwell, didn't say anything to the guys, had to act tough an

  12. Oh yeah Gimp, forgot about that one.Photo's turned out pretty good. Like what you've done with the weed, amazing what playing with the saturation and contrast can do. Not sure what settings the programs have that you used but in Photoshop I always play around with the levels, gives you more control for changing the contrast as you can change the dark, light and mid tones separately.Good stuff, I look forward to seeing some fishy pics

  21. Great post Jack Only coming across Strike & Hook last year when I caught the fishing bug I am a complete amature. The amount of info I've gathered from the site has been astounding, whether it's searching through old threads or posting up a "How do I catch this" or "Where to catch that" thread, I've had nothing but help from lots of fishos on here.Fisrt time I ran into someone from the site was back when I decided to go to a MPLAG meeting down at Aldinga, ran into a bunch of suss lookin blokes, I recognised JimboJames as I too had been following his posts on his Mully adventures, then wa
  22. I use a Lee melter, 220v version is available, mine came from the US via ebay ;)Heating the moulds is a must for me otherwise the lead won't come out as easily, a few pours the leads pop out with ease. In between moulds I rest on the top of my melter. I tried sooting up with a candle but it didn't work too well, I probably needed to soot up more.If you get a melter my best advice would be use clean lead or if you use dodgy lead like me, melt it in something old, I use a baked bean tin, then pour out ingots (just large sinkers ) then use them as clean lead. I say this as my melting pot is cov
