  6. I can confirm any photos uploaded to the forum have their metadata stripped out, which includes GPS locations. This topic has come up in the past, there's a couple of posts about it.http://www.strikehook.com/forum/27-boat-fishing/246780-4m-white-near-port-stanvac?start=15#247950http://www.strikehook.com/forum/5-general-fishing/144432-word-of-warning-about-taking-pics-on-your-phone?limitstart=0&start=15This is all the data in the picture above:http://regex.info/exif.cgi?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.strikehook.com%2Fmedia%2Fkunena%2Fattachments%2F7780%2Fh1a4ca6e.jpg
  7. yep, works very well. You can buy carp slabs from tackle shops, or of course you can catch your own :)cray boats use a lot of carp for bait so I have heard.

  9. There is a website for them, seahorse i think they're called... Bit pricey but at around $1500.... There's a couple of makes. They are not popular here because we have a hook limit and because they are so pricey, in nz they use them to run longlines from the beach. So not much demand here other than for sharkers etc who will improvise and kayak baits out etc.I'm sure you could rig one up out of an old leccy motor and rc boat hull a lot cheaper than you could buy one.
  10. You want something like our nz cousins use, a kontiki
  11. http://www.regupol.com.au/au/products/sports-leisure/marine-applications/overview-marine-applications.phpapparently this stuff is the duck's guts... would imagine it'd be pricey though.its the same spongey stuff they use on some playgrounds etc these days instead of bark chips ;)stays dry, non slip, doesn't get too hot, its comfy underfoot and easy to clean etc.rubber mats, ute liners etc are the cheaper alternative, but they get hot and can get uncomfortable if fishing for a long time, especially if you are a barefoot fisherman.there are other grid pattern rubber floor options aswell, called

  13. cannot stand robson green "an actor goes fishing"...adventure bound definitely one of the better shows, not as much of a sponsor whore as other shows as well.ifish and et is all, buy this product, buy that product, pan camera over that product, bit of fishing, buy this product, buy that product etc. "here's a fishing tip... buy this product".... bit hard to take them seriously on much.
  14. Most of this forum is actually publically accessible, meaning anyone could potentially be monitoring this site (including logging the shoutbox if they have a login), what they choose to do with the information is entirely up to them.If someone decides to ban a member from their site for something they said on here, well that's their choice, but it does say something about them.Quite frankly though, we don't care about or what happens on other sites, and if other sites feel the need to monitor this one for whatever reason, well good on 'em...Google is such a crap site and Mark Zuckerberg is a t
  15. There's some real gold on the site if you dig tony (search) ;)Here's a good one.http://www.strikehook.com/forum/42-metropolitan/392-elly-sI'd suggest digging through the old posts, note the months of the year and approx locations etc, then maybe check the historical weather info for water temps etc.
