  7. Ah dunno what sort of fly u would call this but it's one of the first I tied made it out if duck feathers on a #10 hook
  8. Well for all the traditionalists and stake burners this mornin I finaly got my first fish on a propper fly! As follows....
  9. Got 18 good sized tommies and few for snapper/mulloway bait I was happy there was another boat pulled up next to me and didn't catch a thing so I was doin some thing write! And. Na I wasn't at Tennyson I'm down the SE ATM
  10. If this works this is the gent fly I tied, it's just a heap of cotton thead on a #16 hook it was something I come up with one night spare of the moment thing my fly tying is a bit ruff but I'm learning
  11. Do fish caught on a fly rod with a baited hook still count as fly fished? Just wondering cos had a good day on the tommies they would only take live gents not the little gent flys I pre tied. If it counts then these would be my first fish on a fly rod? Would post photo but can't work out how?
