  4. cheers fellas thankyous for the repliesyep shore based in broomei would prefer to stick to ones,more chance on flathead or whatever,blows me out what this braid can handle it was supposed to be 2kg finns,found a pack of 1/0 head hunters hiding in my mix,no broken hooks lately but no sizeable queenies either,slight hook warpage from the gts,dunno about using 2/0s on an 80 mm minnow,to much hook?there is bugger all selection of light gear in the shops here,makes life a bit frustrating
  5. gday allhave been using tt lures tournament series jigheads which have generally performed well until crunch time,im fishing light 2kg braid 5 kg leader,been having problems with hook straightening and hook snapages costing me a couple of queenfish lately at landing on the beach :c :c :c ,with golden trevally mainly guilty for the straightening.any info/leads to an 1/8 bullethead jighead with a no.1 hook with balls would be fantasticfeel free to reply mr ballscheers fellastime to go see if i can land one of the queenie :c s this time
  6. im with 4the a mate sent us batch from darwin mainly minnow size,watermelon pearl still proved the most consistent in salt water with hits and hook ups,cant beat em in my opinion on barra or saratoga in fresh

  15. dunno if ive misread your post ausea,but i think they refer to keeping it out of the heat all the time and i dunno about that either imo uv is the biggest killer of mono.thats the biggest reason why i use braid these days.back to my corner
  16. late tuesday arvo port victoria way,second beach.about 20 metres from the end of the rocks on the beach.was up a bit further but weed became a pain.fishing light using gulp rainbow pearl minnowws 1/8 jighead with a spinner.would have picked up an easy dozen salmon trout,one just on size the others well over and a couple of mullet to boot in just over an hour every second or third cast had a hit,pity i was looking for lizards.left em biting and all cr.was meant to launch wed,but my tubs a couple of feet short,im :c over the weather there

  20. if your doing the gibb,carrying weight,it may pay to carry min 2 spares and a rimlessdont know about now,that road used to shred tyres towards the kalumburu end.eg.mate a few years ago was going to head down,tojo ute,sprung for 2.5 tonnes with a camper on the back,not even 2 hours into it 2 :c tyres one spare left,back to kunnunurra and back on the black.
