  1. Here you go, managed to get 90 minutes in the river late this afternoon while Pam rested.. took the selfie with the Spotters Fury sunglass & strap as well as wearing the Spotters cap while making my way past a fallen tree in the river. (report yet to come).. cheers Adrian

    The Spotters Fury sunglasses & cap were just two of several items used from my prize pack used today on the Dasher River.

    This great little trout river is just 5 minutes from home. It hold plenty of small to medium size wild brown trout with the odd fish or two often going around 500 grams.

  5. Well I just received my Spotters Prize Pack in the mail today and what a great prize it is.. Great pair of Spotters Fury Black - Halide sun glasses, sun glasses hold fast (so I don't lose them) a beautiful Spotters t-shirt, Spotters baseball cap and a ripper car sunshade all of these prizes will be put to very good use too. Thanks again to " SPOTTERS & STRIKE & HOOK " for putting up the prizes for the month of March & also I'm wrapped I won the March Spotters Comp. Can't wait to find a bit of time to hit a river and give the spotters a go, plus I'll wear the cap and take a self
  6. Good one doobie... There is actually a trout fly that looks like a bee KS.. I don't have one though, I do tie a black wooly bugger on my line above the lure every so often and that will catch a trout every now and then.. black Wooly bugger.. . Bee type flies.. projoe, the Bumble Bees rarely sting anyone I've had them land on me and they're never a problem, the do sound like a B-17 Bomber though as they're really noisy buggers.. European wasps are what annoy me as they're every where here now days.. have been stung a couple of times by them, March flies are even worse they just
  7. Finally we have had a bit of rain here today and it's brought the bees out collecting honey, Bumble Bees & native bees were busy on a variety of plants a while ago.. I had time to get a few quick pic's before the rain moved in again.. hoping we get a lot more to give the rivers a lift and bring the trout on.. cheers Adrian Bumble bees...   10. Thanks af, I took seven photos over eight minutes as it was setting.. each one was a little different each time.. "crepuscular rays" that's the first I've heard of them, thanks for the info on that.. cheers Adrian
