Here is a coupla I caught at Ardrossan a few weeks ago: Both on 95mm sugapen. Would be happy to have a crack if you are looking for more testers.

Yeah I've done a few trips to Ardrossan recent and had some success with bluey's and YFW. I'll wade out and see what I find. I suspect I'll have more luck on the flatties but I'll be sure to report back if I do find any YFW.

Hey all - I'm off to Point Turton in the near future and was looking for some advice. I've recently been targeting YFW on lures with a little bit of success but I'm not sure if I will find YFW that far south? Looking at Google maps it looks like there are some good sand flats further west of Turton that might be worth a crack. Otherwise I might change my target species to flathead. Also, I'm gonna have the family tinnie there and was wondering if it's worth taking the crab nets? Again, I'm not sure if it's too far south. Any other knowledge of the area greatly appreciated!

Hey all, I've recently got into the surface whiting fishing bandwagon but I'm having some trouble with the lure spinning across the surface. My setup is: Shimano Raider 762 Bream Spinning Rod 7 ft 6 Shimano 2500 real 10Lb braid 8Lb mono leader, roughly 50cm long Bassday Super Pen 95mm Atomic assist hooks Size 10 trebles The leader is connected with a double uni knot and I'm using a blood knot to attach the lure to the line. I assume the lure isn't meant to be spinning while I retrieve it? Any tips that might make it swim straight? Gary
