From what i have been told is braid will spin on the spool unlike mono.

i normally use my light rod when throwing out metals... tho last trip to conventions i was casting my spool dry and had to stop it manually :lol:I really need to get a 9ft combo to do this sort of stuff..

It would be between 2 fish....1. The snapper i caught at whyalla and Del having to listen to me stirr him up for the rest of the week long trip2. The 51cm Rainbow the other week, that was a beautiful fish!!! and Del is still having nightmares about it...

I use this Ebay braid.. (yes yes go laugh) But never had any issue with strength, and in about 1.5yrs of using it i have had 1 wind knot only.

I also have a abu 6500 reel.. i love it, tho dunno about using it to flick plastics around, unless i have it all set up wrong.. :dry:
